I just installed it a few days ago and have been playing a little bit. I just wanted something new, tried of chasing GWAMM. Have 32/50 in my HOM and I'm pretty happy with that.

Anyone else finding the switch from GW to Rift frustrating? I'm asking here instead of the Rift forums in search of someone who's successfuly made the switch (or not). I just totally suck ass at Rift. It's diffcult to target enemies, and while in a raid with tons of people running around it's impossible. Maybe it's because I've never played WoW and that would have been a better switch? The whole soul tree thing has me scratching my head. If you put points into something that sucks you can't take them out... you're stuck with bad/newb decisions?

Anyway, I just remember GW making a lot more sense when I first started. Oh, there was a learning curve but it seemed very... intuitive to me. You place attributes in a particular place, place the spell on your bar, switch attributes around in town if you needed, etc...

Played it and quit like two weeks later. Nothing new to keep players drawn in.
